WHAT IS TAI
The TAI denotes a race of people of Mangoloid origin
who are inhabiting in the large tacts of Southeast Asia
Research Projects Completed:
| a) | Cultural Heritage of the Tais of Northeast: A study of the Ahom, (2005-2007). Financially supported by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) New Delhi, under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. |
| b) | Documentation and preservation of Tai manuscripts and Chronicles, (2006-2007). Financially supported by National Archive of India, New Delhi. |
| c) | A pilot project on: Traditional Skill and Knowledge Culture of the Tais of Northeast India, Sponsored by the Ministry of culture, Government of India, New Delhi, (2007-2008). |
| d) | National Archive (New Delhi) sponsored project on:Preservation of Tai Manuscipts, Financially supported by National Archive of India, New Delhi, (2009-2010) |
